Where are you located?

We are headquartered and operate our manufacturing base in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. We serve as a global supplier, exporting to over 50 countries worldwide.
Do you manufacture or just trade?

We are a direct manufacturer. Founded in 1993, we operate a 27km² manufacturing facility with specialized production lines for various high-performance fibers and fabrics.
What certifications do you hold?

Impact Composites is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Our products also carry SGS, CE, and BV certifications depending on the specific product line and application requirements.
What is your minimum order quantity?

MOQ varies by product. For standard carbon fiber and aramid fabrics, the MOQ is typically 10 meters. For specialty yarns or custom developments, please contact our sales team for specifics.

Carbon Fiber Products

What is the difference between T300 and T700?

The primary difference is tensile strength. T300 is a standard-grade fiber with a tensile strength of approx. 3530 MPa, while T700 is a high-strength grade with approx. 4900 MPa. Both share a similar tensile modulus of 230 GPa.
What weave patterns are available?

We offer a wide range of patterns including Plain, 2x2 Twill, 4x4 Twill, and various Satin weaves (4HS, 5HS, 8HS). Custom weave patterns can also be developed for large orders.
Can you supply carbon fiber prepreg?

Yes, we provide both 120°C and 180°C cure epoxy resin prepregs. These are available with various fiber types and areal weights to suit different manufacturing processes.
What is the shelf life of prepreg?

Our prepregs have a shelf life of 12 months when stored at -18°C. The out-life (workable time at room temperature of 23°C) is typically 30 days.

Shipping & Payment

What payment terms do you accept?

We typically accept T/T (30% deposit, 70% before shipment), L/C at sight for large orders, and Western Union or PayPal for sample payments and smaller orders.
How long does shipping take?

Sea freight typically takes 15-25 days depending on the destination port. Air freight and express delivery (DHL/FedEx) usually take 5-7 working days.
Do you provide samples?

Yes, we provide samples for qualified buyers to test material compatibility and quality. Small fabric samples are often free, while larger samples or specialty items may incur a nominal fee.
What shipping methods do you use?

For small orders and samples, we use DHL, FedEx, or UPS. For bulk orders, we primarily use sea freight (FCL or LCL) or air cargo depending on urgency and volume.

Can you make custom specifications?

Absolutely. We can customize the width (up to 200cm), areal weight (GSM), and weave pattern to meet your specific engineering requirements.
What is the lead time for custom orders?

Lead time typically ranges from 15 to 30 working days, depending on the complexity of the specification and the total quantity ordered.
Do you offer OEM services?

Yes, we offer white-label and OEM manufacturing services for various brands and distributors. This includes custom labeling, packaging, and proprietary material development.
